Christmas tree farm guide
Christmas tree farms in Washington.
Explore Christmas tree farms around Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula, southwest Washington and the Spokane area. Compare field-grown firs, pre-cut trees and potted options, then use the individual listings to check species, price basis, reservations and opening days.
Choose a tree-buying format
Trinity, Stocker, McMurtrey and Dairyland offer field cutting and pre-cut shopping. Farrell and Klopman can cut your chosen tree for you. Alpine Meadows also sells potted trees. Olmsted’s listing is for its Poulsbo farm, rather than its separate retail lots.
Compare per-tree and per-foot prices
Sprouffske posts $45 Douglas, $55 Grand and $65 Noble fir prices per tree. Washougal River posts $59.95 standard trees. Farrell uses $8 and $10 per-foot rates; Bacon’s uses species and tall-tree rates with tax included. Schilter and Bolender publish full height tiers, and Coates distinguishes cash and card prices.
Check reservations and cutting days
Buttonwood visits are by appointment. McMurtrey requires cut-your-own reservations, while its pre-cut shopping needs none. Dairyland limits field cutting to weekends after its Thanksgiving opening. Alpine Meadows closes Sundays. The listings distinguish specifically posted 2026 dates from recurring tree-season hours.
Plan for the species and tree height
Noble, Douglas, Grand and Nordmann firs appear at several farms. Trinity offers field-grown Noble and Nordmann firs as well as pre-cut Fraser firs. Enchanted Winds individually prices taller Noble, Turkish and Nordmann trees. Bacon’s changes its per-foot rate at 12ft, and Alpine Meadows sells tall trees pre-cut.
