The farm visit.
Begin at the campfire area
After parking, collect a tag at the campfire area and ask staff where to find your preferred tree type and size. Borrow a hand saw, or ask a helper to cut the tree and bring it out by tractor.
The restroom is beside the tree-processing building near parking. A forest trail links sections of the fields; choose a route that suits the walk you want.
Hayride across the tree fields
Take the hayride to the opposite end of the tree field, or walk and explore at your own pace. The mapped starting point is beside the tree-processing area, with a stop near the farther fields.
Tree preparation at no extra charge
Staff trim the base as you prefer, shake out loose needles, drill for a spike stand and bale the tree. Cutting assistance and those preparation services have no extra charge. Twine is supplied for the vehicle; Tim Mitchell stands are sold separately.
Complimentary drinks and separate greenery shopping
Enjoy free cocoa, cider and candy canes by the campfire while the tree is prepared. Other treats are sold, along with fresh hand-tied wreaths and swags. Cash is preferred; checks and credit cards are also accepted. Friendly dogs are welcome.
