The farm visit.
Cut only a priced tree
Only field trees carrying a price tag may be harvested. Saws are supplied; leave chainsaws and axes at home. Ask for assistance if your large tree is difficult to cut. Gravel roads have soft shoulders, so keep vehicles on the firm route.
Free shaking; baling and flocking separately
Shaking is free on request and twine is supplied. Baling has a small additional charge. The farm sells reusable peg-style stands with 10-quart water bowls, plus larger stands for large Noble firs, and can drill the trunk for the peg.
Flocking and fireproofing are available for trees up to 9ft. Allow an additional day for drying before collection rather than expecting immediate pickup.
Candy canes, weekend food and handmade wreaths
Children receive free candy canes; weekend food trucks sell their meals and drinks separately. Wreaths are made and decorated by the family, with weekend demonstrations.
Wreaths start at $35, including custom candy-cane and cross shapes. The standard greenery combines Noble fir, incense cedar, blue-berried juniper, pine cones and a bow.
Before you go.
- Leashed dogs are welcome; clean up after them. Stay on gravel roads because shoulders can be soft.
