The farm visit.
Start at the information hut or Santa’s Workshop
On weekends, check in at the green information hut beside the drive; on weekdays, use Santa’s Workshop, the large white-and-grey building. Collect a saw, prices and field map, then ask where to look for your preferred species. You may bring your own hand saw. Return borrowed saws to the bins after use.
Walk the fields or drive around the farm. Visitors needing extra assistance can drive; otherwise the farm recommends walking to reduce congestion. If leaving your vehicle, pull well clear of the road.
The 2026 field map marks restrooms near the entrance and Santa’s Workshop, one-way roads and private/no-through areas. Follow the marked route and use the map to plan your search.
Measuring, optional baling and securing the tree
After cutting, take the tree back for measuring. Baling is an optional small additional charge. If you do not want it baled, ask a worker in a red apron or safety vest to measure the tree before paying at the workshop. Twine is supplied, and staff can help secure the tree.
No new field entry is allowed after 4pm; finish all cutting by 4:30pm. The machinery and staff do not operate later, so arrive with enough time for searching and processing.
Free cocoa, cider and candy
Self-service hot cocoa and cider, with fixings, are complimentary throughout tree season at Santa’s Workshop. Candy is free at checkout, including treats for well-behaved leashed dogs. Other snacks are sold.
Groovy Grounds coffee visits
Groovy Grounds brings coffee drinks to the farm on selected busy shopping dates. Purchases from the vendor are separate from the complimentary self-service cocoa and cider in Santa’s Workshop.

Reserve a particular field tree by tagging
Collect a SOLD tag at Santa’s Workshop and attach ribbons or decorations to your chosen tree. Return before the farm closes for the season to cut it; payment is due when the tree is harvested.
The 2026 tree-decorating contest runs during the November 14–December 13 season. Enter with photographs, your name and contact details through the farm’s stated email and social-tag instructions. The winner, selected after the season closes, receives a 2027 tree up to 12ft.
Custom wreaths and tree concerns
Custom wreaths can be ordered in advance up to 72in overall diameter. Noble-and-juniper wreaths up to 24in can also be shipped within the continental US as a separate order.
Fresh green trees are generally not returnable or exchangeable. If you have cared for the tree properly and are dissatisfied, contact the farm to discuss a resolution; this is not an unconditional refund offer.
