Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
At Treworgy Family Orchards the Christmas trees are cut at the Breaside Fields, a quarter mile down Union Street across the road from the main farm. The farm describes driving deep into the woods to the fields, where you are greeted by Greek Revival buildings and friendly staff. It does not publish the tree species; its wreath text mentions balsam fir.
You can order a custom wreath in the gift shop, ride the tractor-drawn wagon to the tree fields where saws are waiting, find your tree and cut it, and bring it back to the edge of the field, where farmers load it onto the wagon and bale it. This season’s prices are not posted; the previous season’s list is in the price table.

The tree harvest at the Breaside Fields
A visit starts in the gift shop, where you can order a custom wreath that is made during your outing. You then take the tractor-drawn wagon to the tree fields, where saws are waiting, choose and cut your tree, and bring it back to the edge of the field. The farm’s staff load the tree on the wagon and bale it while you warm up at the campfire. The state association’s listing adds a base drill for guests with a center-pin stand at home.
The farm has discontinued pre-season tree reservations; trees are first come at the fields. This season’s dates, hours and prices are not posted. The table shows the farm’s previous-season price list, still on its Christmas page; confirm this season’s prices at the farm.

The campfire, cider, cocoa and doughnuts
The farm’s Christmas page describes hot cider, cocoa and doughnuts around a warm campfire, with complimentary marshmallows for roasting; it does not say whether the cider, cocoa and doughnuts cost extra. The state association’s listing says they are available for purchase, and the farm posts no Christmas prices for them. The listing and the farm’s information page also say the tractor-drawn wagon ride is free.
Wreath-making workshops, November 28 and 29
On Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 you can learn to craft a fresh balsam fir wreath from scratch, with all materials, instruction, bows and decorations provided and no experience necessary. Workshops are held in the semi-heated workshop high tunnel at the Christmas tree fields. Each session is $49.00 per person, booked through the farm’s online store, and places are limited.
Saturday sessions are at 10:15am, 11:45am and 1:15pm; Sunday sessions are at 12:15pm, 1:30pm and 2:45pm.

The gift shop and wreaths
The farm describes a Christmas gift shop where you order a custom wreath, and the state association’s listing mentions pre-made wreaths. Wreath prices, the shop’s Christmas stock and its hours are not published; confirm at the farm.
Christmas photography at the tree fields
All photography sessions at Christmas time need an online reservation and advance payment of $80 per hour, with a one-hour minimum and up to 10 people. Sessions are outdoors only, in the Christmas tree fields; there is no indoor space. Photographers may arrive 30 minutes early, drones need proof of an FAA license, vehicles are not allowed in the fields or on public roads, and there are no refunds. Informal family photos on a regular visit are allowed. The farm asks that you not call or email for permission.
Dogs, payment and practical conditions
The farm’s information page is written for the whole farm and its fall season. It says dogs are allowed on leashes but must be kept out of the crop fields and orchards under federal food safety rules, that there is no entry or parking fee and no cost for tractor rides, cart use or picnic tables, and that the farm accepts all major credit cards, tap-to-pay and cash. It does not say how these apply to the Christmas tree fields, so ask before bringing a dog. The farm has not published parking, terrain, restrooms, accessibility or a weather rule for the tree fields.
Finding the farm
The main farm is at 3876 Union Street in Levant, about 9 miles west of Bangor International Airport. The Christmas tree fields, the Breaside Fields, are a quarter mile down Union Street across the road from the main farm; the farm publishes no separate street number for them.
The fall farm is a separate visit
The farm also runs apple and pumpkin picking, a corn maze, a café, a petting zoo, goat cuddling, camps and school visits. These belong to the farm’s spring, summer and fall seasons (goat cuddling runs on weekends in May and June); the fall season’s final day is November 7, and none of it is part of the Christmas tree visit. The state association’s listing also mentions goat petting hours, but the farm’s own pages list goat cuddling only for May and June.

Tree season: Tree dates not posted; wreath workshops November 28 and 29
The farm’s Christmas page still shows the previous season’s harvest dates and prices. For that season the farm began on the day after Thanksgiving and ran weekends through the Saturday before Christmas: the Friday after Thanksgiving and Saturdays 10am to 4pm, and Sundays 12pm to 4pm. This season’s tree dates, hours and closing date are not posted, so they are not confirmed. The only dated Christmas items for this season are two wreath-making workshops on November 28 and 29. The farm’s fall season has its final day on November 7, which is a separate matter from the Christmas tree season. The state association’s undated listing gives the same pattern, Saturday 10am–4pm and Sunday 12pm–4pm, and says the farm is open on weekends in the Christmas season, including Black Friday; this is not a dated schedule for this season.
