Field paths and getting your tree home

Wear boots or sturdy shoes for rocks, roots and stumps, with a brief walk up a gravel road to the second and third fields. Handsaws are supplied; gas and electric saws are prohibited, and the farm is smoke- and vape-free. Staff help transport trees down from the upper fields; a tarp or cart can also help.

Netting is free, though trees 12 feet or taller may not fit through the netter. Twine is provided, and you must secure the tree to your vehicle yourself: staff cannot assist with tying it on. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash with cleanup, and a portable toilet is available.

Handmade wreaths for a second decorating choice

Handmade wreaths are $35 with a bow, otherwise undecorated, or $45 fully decorated, including tax. The farm shop gives you a way to choose greenery and locally made gifts alongside the tree.

Bonfires, scavenger hunt and farm shop

Every tree purchase includes a s’more kit for the farm’s bonfires. Children can follow a scavenger hunt on the way to the upper fields; ask staff for details before setting out. Hot chocolate is also offered, with coffee also listed in the growers profile; ask about the day’s refreshments.

The farm shop carries Colleen Gilroy’s handmade candles, pottery, maple syrup, wood-burning work and other gifts. Professional photography requires prior arrangement by email at coriantreefarms@gmail.com; it is a separate visit rather than an included tree-shopping session.
