Choose your Christmas tree.
Holiday Farm opens its main season on Friday November 27. Cutting is also available Monday–Wednesday November 23–25, 1–4pm, with no appointment needed.
The posted price is $85 for every tree, including tax and netting. Bring cash or a check; credit cards are not accepted. Handsaws and restrooms are listed in the growers guide. Staff can help with cutting and carrying the tree to your car; ask for the assistance your group needs.
The operator’s selection guide features Canaan fir, blue spruce and white spruce; the broader growers profile also lists white pine, so ask about current stock. Canaan fir has soft needles and a light citrus scent, while the sturdier blue spruce suits heavier ornaments. For the fuller white spruce, the farm recommends cutting after December 10 for better holiday needle retention and replenishing the water daily.

Getting the timing right
Thanksgiving itself is closed. The current Thanksgiving-week grid gives Friday–Sunday 9 am–4:15 pm, while a lower block still gives November 24–26 advance dates and a dusk closing, and the older growers profile requires appointments. The new upper announcement expressly offers November 23–25, 1–4 pm without an appointment. Follow that new notice for the early opening and confirm later weekday access and the day’s closing time with the farm.
The approach from Route 202 uses South Road and the Hayward Road fork. The operator directs parking to one side of the road; use the signed right-hand side and turn around if your approach puts you on the wrong side. Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash. Ask about tagging before planning an advance selection visit.
Arrange a separate photography visit
Photographers can arrange access for $80 per day, with a call ahead required. The farm welcomes engagement, maternity and family sessions throughout the year. This is a location fee for your own photographer; agree the date and access arrangements before planning a shoot.
