Choose your Christmas tree.
Valley Star grows white pine, Norway spruce, Canaan, concolor and Douglas fir in its Shenandoah Valley fields. Most field trees are 5–7 feet. Any choose-and-cut tree, regardless of variety or size, is $69 before sales tax. Fresh-cut trees from 3–8 feet are individually priced, also before tax.
Visitors can cut their own tree or ask staff to cut and bring it in from the field. Shaking and wrapping are free with a field tree and included in the fresh-cut price. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. The Springfield Road entrance lies north of Luray, rather than in the town centre.
