Choose your Christmas tree.
At the Virginia Firever Pines farm, all choose-and-cut trees are $93 regardless of height. The farm page features Canaan fir, Murray cypress and Blue Ice; its broader catalog also names Leyland cypress and white pine. Species and tall-tree selection vary with growing conditions, so check the latest field update if one variety is essential.
For different decorating styles, Canaan fir has a layered shape with short, soft needles, while Murray cypress is fuller and has little aroma. Blue Ice has blue-grey, flat, lace-like foliage and a citrus or mint fragrance. The grower warns that Blue Ice dries quickly in a warm home, so frequent watering matters with that choice.
Precut Fraser, Concolor and Canaan firs provide another route, including trees brought from the family’s Pennsylvania farm. Posted online examples are $79.99 for Concolor, $85.99 for Fraser and $97.99 for Canaan, but those tiles do not specify a height; confirm size and collection terms before comparing them with the field price.

Tools, processing and parking
Saws are supplied and staff can assist with cutting, hauling and loading. Shaking, drilling, baling and twine are free with a tree purchase. Bring ratchet straps if you have them for a car or SUV.
Look for the red pole barn just off Jericho Road; the main parking area is in front. The farm opens in rain or snow and has a covered selling barn.
The Christmas shop and photo stops
Handmade wreaths, fresh garland, pole swags and hand-tied bows sit alongside ornaments, jams and jellies, cider and Amish-made birdhouses. A decorated red truck, mistletoe arch and elf village offer places to pause while visiting the Virginia farm.
The shop also offers a spike-style Tim Mitchell tree stand with a ten-quart water bowl for in-store pickup. Ask staff about the compatible drilling and stand choice when having your tree prepared; a tree purchase does not establish a free stand.
Wreath evenings away from the farm
Pines & Pints is a separately ticketed wreath-decorating evening at a named brewery. Each of the listed Virginia tickets is $55 and includes a fresh fir wreath, a hand-tied bow in your chosen colour, decorating materials and a complimentary pint. Cedar and white-pine cuttings, dried flowers and fruit, cones and seasonal accents let you personalise the wreath.
The ticket pages allow refunds up to seven days before the event. Check the final ticket total and venue requirements before buying; a tree purchase does not include the class. All sessions below are 6:30–8:30pm. Use the Virginia program, as Firever also offers separate Pennsylvania events.
Private wreath-decorating groups have a minimum of 15 participants. Firever can come to your location or arrange a brewery venue; the offering includes a wreath, bow, decorations and instructor help, with the group price and date arranged separately.

Book a photography session separately
Professional or arranged holiday photo sessions have their own farm-use booking: $50 per hour or $175 for a full day. The published session window is Friday–Sunday, November 1–December 15, with other times by arrangement; bookings close November 6 and only two photographers are allowed at once.
A signed waiver and proof of insurance are required 48 hours before the session. Cancellations or changes also need at least 48 hours’ notice for the published full-refund option; rescheduling depends on availability. Confirm the Virginia session’s entrance instructions, as its photography page prints a different Jericho Road street number from the ordinary tree-visit page.
Payment and dogs
Cash, checks and major cards are accepted without a card fee. Dogs are welcome on a leash, with cleanup. Check seasonal updates for the remaining selection before travelling close to the anticipated closing day.
