The Suffolk council’s current flyer offers fresh-cut Fraser firs from 3 to 12 feet. Trees are hand-sheared, mechanically cleaned and individually baled before delivery, with harvesting shortly before they reach the lot. That describes preparation before arrival, rather than a promise of free onsite services.
The council operates the lot as a nonprofit fundraiser supporting local charities. Its current selling address is Starr Motors, 2584 Pruden Boulevard. The council’s South Broad Street contact address is a mailing location, not another tree lot.

Plan around evening selling hours
Weekday evening opening makes this a different option from daylight field cutting. Monday through Thursday sales run 6–9pm, with an earlier 3pm Friday start, 9am Saturday opening and noon Sunday opening. Use the complete schedule rather than carrying forward the prior lot’s Friday hours.
Taking a tree home
The council recommends keeping a purchased tree in water in a sheltered, unheated place until it is ready to decorate, protected from sun and wind. Check the current lot announcement for remaining stock and purchase details.
