Choose your Christmas tree.
Spruce Ridge is a family choose-and-cut farm run by Jonathan and Regina McGuire. Walk the fields to compare Fraser, Canaan and concolor fir with white pine, then cut your own tree using one of the supplied handsaws or ask the farm to cut it for you.
Visitors cannot use chainsaws or drive their own vehicles into the fields. If bringing a tree back is difficult, staff can retrieve it for you. These arrangements let you keep the field selection while asking for practical help with the heavier work.
The grower’s service description also lists free baling and loading assistance. Ask the crew for the help you need after selecting the tree; staff retrieval from the field is available when needed.
The field visit follows rolling hills of maintained tree rows. The grower’s wider variety list also names Balsam fir and blue spruce, alongside the four choices on the farm website; check whether either is ready for cutting before making it the reason for your trip.

Fresh wreaths and swags
Wreaths are made fresh each day in a variety of sizes. The greenery selection also includes mailbox swags, door swags and boxwood wreaths, so the same visit can cover both the main tree and smaller decorations.
Payment and dogs
Bring cash or a personal check; credit cards are not accepted. Well-behaved dogs may come on a leash, with owners responsible for cleaning up after them.
A short selling season
The announced season runs November 21–December 6, closing at 5pm on the final Sunday. Thanksgiving afternoon and Black Friday have their own hours. Use 682 Spruce Run Road for the operator’s published visitor address.
