Choose your Christmas tree.
Meadows Farms’ Chantilly / South Riding nursery participates in the operator’s fresh-cut Christmas-tree offering. The chain guide compares Fraser, Douglas, balsam, noble and Nordmann fir and white pine, while expressly warning that varieties differ by store and can run out later in the season. Ask this branch which varieties and heights are ready to buy before travelling for a particular tree.
The guide describes North Carolina Fraser fir as a fragrant all-round choice, full Oregon Douglas fir, aromatic balsam, well-shaped noble fir and lower-fragrance Nordmann with sturdy branches. White pine has soft, longer needles and is better suited to lighter ornaments. These are useful choices to compare if available here, rather than a promise that all six are in this store’s lot.

Plan the nursery visit
The South Riding branch has an earlier 7am weekday general opening than many sister stores. The Chantilly mailing name does not identify a separate Fairfax branch.
The hours below are general store opening, not a separately confirmed Christmas selling calendar. Confirm tree arrival, holiday exceptions and remaining sizes with the branch. A tree’s labelled price, any fresh-cut/netting/loading charge and delivery arrangements should be checked for the actual purchase; landscape plant warranties do not automatically apply to a cut Christmas tree.
Holiday plants and greenery
The operator’s holiday range also includes wreaths, poinsettias and decorating goods, with selection varying by store. Poinsettia shipment dates do not establish when Christmas trees arrive. This is precut retail shopping, with no visitor field cutting described for this nursery.
