Hunt Club’s holiday crew sells fresh-cut Fraser firs grown in Whitetop, Virginia. Staff trim the tree to your preference and load it into or onto your vehicle. They can also put the tree on your stand on request.

Local delivery is available for a fee. Arrange the destination and charge with the farm before relying on delivery; it is not included in a stated tree price.

The farm visit.

Holiday market shopping

The seasonal market provides wreaths, holiday decorations and gifts alongside the trees. The Holiday Market and tree lot have a longer evening schedule than some of the farm’s daytime attractions, so use the tree-selling hours for shopping.

A separate animal or TreeWalk outing

The petting farm includes animal encounters, the BirdWalk Aviary and the TreeWalk’s netted bridges, treehouses and slides. These attractions use a separate admission from tree shopping. General admission is $15 per person, with ages 2 and under free; all children under 15 need supervision by a paying adult. Special events and October weekends have different admission arrangements.

For an April–December visit, the published weather-dependent petting-farm hours are 10am–5pm and pony rides run 11am–4pm. Those daytime schedules differ from the evening tree lot. Both attractions close on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day; check any special event or weather closure before combining visits.

Pony tickets require riders to be 12 or younger and weigh no more than 125 pounds. Published attraction prices exclude entertainment tax except for pony rides. Animal feeding and rides are optional purchases; the general-admission ticket does not include them.

Optional rides and animal feeding

Choose extras separately from the tree and attraction admission. The four-ride pony deal can be saved for another visit under the ticket terms; unused pony tickets do not expire.

Santa, S’mores and More

The farm’s separate holiday event advertises a s’mores pack and Santa selfie for guests, a children’s craft with the elves, and access to the petting farm and TreeWalk. Extra s’mores, hot dogs, cocoa, feed cups, bird sticks and pony rides are additional purchases.

The event page says its next dates are coming soon. Check the announced date, ticket price and availability before planning around Santa; buying a tree does not reserve this event.

Book a separate calf experience

Cow cuddling requires general admission plus an animal-session ticket for everyone, including infants; the booking page does not recommend it for ages 2 and under. Under-15s need a ticketed adult, with at most two children per adult. Use code BUYOUT for the six-ticket private option.

Bottle feeding is for ages 7 and up; ages 7–14 need a paying participating adult, with at most four feeding guests per pen. General admission is not required for bottle feeding, but is extra if you stay afterward or arrive during farm hours.

Both require closed-toe shoes. Phone photos are allowed; professional cameras/shoots are not. The farm reserves marketing-photography rights. All sales are final, with no refund or rescheduling for missed sessions. Specific-cow requests cannot be honored; animal interaction varies.

Professional holiday photographs

Professional shoots in the farm or tree lot require advance office booking and a $75 photography fee. The farm says visitors conducting a shoot without a reservation will be asked to leave. Arrange that session separately from ordinary tree shopping.

Dogs, access and refreshments

Well-trained dogs are welcome at the market and petting farm on a non-retractable leash; the TreeWalk does not accommodate dogs. Special events allow service dogs only. The FAQ describes grass, mulch, stone and sand surfaces and asks wheelchair users to alert staff for assistance and front-of-line access. Check the route and particular attraction with the farm rather than assuming every area is accessible.

The market sells snacks, drinks and hot dogs. Picnics are allowed in the petting farm, but birthday cakes, cupcakes and balloons are excluded. A 10% Sunday military discount applies to general admission and farm-market purchases with valid ID shown before checkout; it does not apply to Harvest Fair admission. Check whether a particular tree purchase qualifies.
