Choose your Christmas tree.

Hickory Ridge brings in precut Fraser and balsam trees from North Carolina. The operator advertises premium, first-quality trees with a full shape. The posted height tiers cover 6–10 feet, with a few taller 12–13-foot trees priced individually. Check the seasonal announcement first, as the tree page currently retains a sold-out notice.

Lot attendants bundle the tree and tie it to your vehicle. The operator says those attendants work for tips, so keep that distinction alongside the tree price. Cash and cards are accepted; the general FAQ also announces a card-use fee without stating its amount.

Rides and the play area

A family hayride is included with a purchased tree when conditions permit. The Christmas page separately lists hayrides without a tree purchase and barrel-train rides at $5.50; children 2 and under ride the hayride free. The general FAQ carries lower ride prices, so confirm the seasonal charge before paying.

The Christmas play area is listed as free, with farm animals, playhouses, sand piles and bounce houses. Pony rides are listed on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am–2 pm. These are weather- and season-dependent activities rather than guaranteed additions to every tree visit.

Coffee truck and farm-stand shopping

The coffee truck offers hot chocolate, lattes, cider and chai, while the stand carries local foods and gifts. The Christmas page names cookies, pies, peanuts, honey, kettle corn, coffee, soaps, cocoa treats and wooden serving boards. These are purchases alongside the tree, rather than part of its listed price.

Practical farm arrangements

Portable toilets are available and visitors may bring their own food and drinks. Leashed pets are allowed under the general farm policy but must stay clear of working ponies and out from under the farm stand; crop-picking fields have separate seasonal restrictions. Smoking is prohibited near the stand and play area.

Arrange a professional photo visit

The general farm FAQ asks professional photographers to pay $15 per family for use of the property. Arrange the session and confirm its seasonal setting with the farm; the separate sunflower-photo opportunity runs from mid-May through summer and is not a Christmas-tree backdrop promise.
