Choose your Christmas tree.
Haven Wood grows Douglas, Canaan and concolor fir, Black Hills spruce and Norway spruce in Clarke County. Its announced tree-sale selection includes many trees in the 7½–10-foot-plus range. Larger trees are mostly Douglas and Canaan fir; full-sized concolor and Black Hills spruce are limited. All sizes are $149, with a 10% discount for veterans, military members and first responders in law enforcement, firefighting and paramedic roles.
Book a tree-choice appointment through the farm website. A saw and sled are supplied, chainsaws are not permitted, and the farm uses a mechanical shaker before baling the tree. Twine or strapping and vehicle tie-on assistance are available.

The farm visit.
Inside the bank barn
The Christmas shop occupies the farm’s timber-framed bank barn, giving the outing a separate place to browse after choosing a tree. Farm-grown tree choices remain subject to the ready-to-cut selection on your appointment day.
Selected selling weekends
The announced selling dates are November 27–29, December 5–6 and December 12–13, 9am–4pm each day. Leashed dogs are welcome with cleanup. Private photography is separately arranged outside tree-sale dates at the posted $50 hourly rate; that booking is not included in a tree visit.
Compare the farm-grown varieties
Douglas fir makes up much of the larger-tree choice and has a full outline with soft needles. Canaan fir combines short soft needles with stiffer branches for decorations. Concolor is a softer-looking choice with feathery silvery foliage, but full-sized trees are limited.
Black Hills spruce has short needles and stiff branches in a naturally shaped outline. The grower warns that spruce needle retention fades after a few weeks, so consider when the tree will be cut and displayed; this variety is also limited. Check the actual ready-to-cut selection when booking rather than assuming every growing variety is available at every height.
