Choose your Christmas tree.
Greene Meadows combines a choose-and-cut field of more than seven acres, mainly white pine with some fir and spruce, with precut Douglas, Fraser and Concolor firs sourced from Pennsylvania and southwest Virginia. Earlier selections have included taller trees to 12–14 feet; check the actual remaining range before arriving with a tall-tree plan.
The field crop and precut inventory can follow different availability. The last published season temporarily suspended cutting to protect the following year’s crop, while other trees remained for sale. Confirm whether field cutting has resumed and which precut sizes are available.

The farm visit.
Earlier field prices and tree handling
The farm’s earlier published field prices are based on species rather than height: white pine $59.99, white spruce $69.99 and Canaan fir $69.99, all plus tax. Spruce and Canaan fir were described as very limited. These are price baselines to confirm, not current stock or a renewed cutting offer: the last seasonal notice suspended field cutting to preserve the following crop.
When cutting is available, the published service includes supplied saws, free shaking and baling, twine, and help loading and securing the tree to your vehicle. Check the present cutting and processing arrangements alongside the current field availability.
| Selection | Published amount and conditions |
|---|---|
| White pine | $59.99 plus tax; priced by species, not height; confirm current field availability |
| White spruce | $69.99 plus tax; very limited earlier selection; confirm current field availability |
| Canaan fir | $69.99 plus tax; very limited earlier selection; confirm current field availability |
The Christmas shop
The shop carries ornaments, gifts, tree stands, wreaths, swags, garland, preserves and jellies. Complimentary hot chocolate or cider, candy canes and colouring books are described with the Christmas visit, along with a Santa letterbox, sleigh and lambs; check the day’s arrangements if these shape your plans.
The earlier greenery catalog offers plain or decorated wreaths, with decorated examples starting at $29.99 plus tax depending on bows and other decorations. Pine and Fraser-fir roping comes in 25-foot lengths. The Santa letterbox has paper and pencils for children who want to write at the farm; confirm the day’s shop and family extras before making them the reason for a trip.
Use the published approach
The farm warns that GPS can send visitors toward an inaccessible old entrance. Follow Celt Road to Parker Mountain Road and then Crow Mountain Road rather than relying on an old driveway pin.
The published recurring pattern is Friday–Sunday, 10am–5pm, from the Friday after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve or sellout. Cash and cards are listed. Confirm the current selling calendar before travelling.
