Choose your Christmas tree.
Green Needles offers both field choose-and-cut and pre-cut trees on Yew Tree Lane. You can cut the tree yourself or ask the team to cut and load it. The latest published farm feature names Fraser fir, white pine and Norway spruce, with some trees over 10 feet; check the selection before travelling for a taller tree.
Complimentary hot chocolate is part of the operator’s tree-visit invitation. Christmas wreaths are also offered, and the published farm feature lists roping, so you can look for greenery while the tree is prepared.
An earlier farm account distinguishes pre-cut Fraser fir brought from Floyd County from the field-grown white pine, Canaan, Douglas and concolor fir. The later selection also includes Norway spruce. Check the current field and ready-cut choices separately rather than expecting every variety in both formats.

Friday and Saturday selling
The announced opening is Saturday, November 21, 9am–5:30pm. Regular hours are Friday 10am–5:30pm and Saturday 9am–5:30pm, with Sunday closed. Selling continues on the posted weekends after Thanksgiving while supplies last; check availability before a later trip.

The fuller published farm visit includes tire swings and a footbridge beside the pond. Check which areas are open during your visit. Doughnut and pizza vendors have appeared occasionally, so use a specific farm announcement for food-vendor dates rather than expecting them at every tree-selling session.
