Choose your Christmas tree.
Donner Farms grows Christmas trees along Snickersville Turnpike. Its posted field-tree offer starts at $100 for trees 6–9 feet, naming Norway and blue spruce, white pine and red cedar. The FAQ also mentions Canaan fir in the broader seasonal selection, while precut Fraser firs are a separate option. Confirm the ready-to-cut variety and the actual tree’s price before travelling for a particular height.
Handsaws are provided; electric and gas-powered chainsaws are prohibited. Helpers can assist with choosing, cutting and moving the tree out of the mown grassy fields. At the barn they can trim it further, shake and bale it, then tag it and direct you to the cashier. After payment the tree moves to a holding area for collection and help loading onto your vehicle. Wear outdoor clothing, sturdy closed shoes or boots and gloves.

Wreaths, cider and the barn
Handmade wreaths, bows, centrepieces and tree-care items are available beside the trees, and warm cider is offered. Antique Farmall tractors and the barn provide photo settings; children must stay off the equipment and families should respect marked farm areas. The FAQ describes warm cider as complimentary. Tree stands and watering funnels are sold separately alongside the handmade greenery.
Arranging a visit
The announced opening is November 21 at 9am. The homepage’s ordinary schedule is Tuesday–Friday noon–4pm by appointment and weekends 9am–4pm until sold out. The FAQ separately lists November 27 at 9am–4pm and later Fridays at 9am–4pm, so Friday timing differs between pages. Call before a Friday or other weekday trip to confirm the actual arrangement. Stock and weather may change the calendar; dogs are not permitted.
The farm provides ample field parking for cars, SUVs and family vans and a portable toilet. The search area is described as about eight acres of walkable farmland; that does not establish step-free access across the fields. Keep children with the group and observe yellow caution tape around working equipment.
