Choose your Christmas tree.
Clover Hollow grows Fraser and Canaan fir, with smaller plantings of Turkish fir, Myers blue spruce and corkbark, concolor and grand fir. The growers describe raising trees without herbicides or pesticides; that is their growing-method statement rather than an independent organic certification. Ask which varieties and heights remain available when arranging your visit.
The farm sells by appointment only and supplies hand saws. Its last season’s appointment book was filled by December 7; confirm a new appointment before travelling rather than treating that notice as a permanent closure. Enter the marked Cider Hill Road driveway and continue about a quarter-mile to the parking area.
The farm’s variety pages describe lightly sheared Fraser fir with room between branches for hanging ornaments, while concolor has longer soft needles and a citrus fragrance. Corkbark brings an open shape and a blue tone, and Myers spruce has blunter needles than Colorado blue spruce. Grand fir has a layered outline; its supply is described as limited. Height-based tree prices
The latest published price list covers all species by height and includes Virginia sales tax. Cash, check and Venmo are accepted; credit cards are not. Trees over 10 feet cannot be baled, a practical condition to consider before choosing a tall tree.

The wreath shop
Fraser-fir wreaths are listed in small, medium, large and grande sizes, with mixed-green alternatives using Fraser, concolor and corkbark fir plus white pine. Larger wreath sizes must be preordered. Confirm current sizes and prices when arranging collection.
A separate wreath guide lists undecorated Fraser, concolor and mixed-green wreaths in 20-, 24-, 32-, 40- and 48-inch sizes, with larger orders requested several days ahead. Those measurements are a separate older guide, without a confirmed mapping to the small-to-grande prices above. Confirm both the diameter and quoted price for your order.

A stand for a tree up to 8 feet
The farm’s product guide offers a #8 Gunnard stand for trees up to 8 feet, in red or silver. Its four braces are described as fitting around the trunk without requiring it to be shaved down to a small ring. Ask about current stand stock and price, especially if you are selecting a taller tree; this stand’s stated size limit is 8 feet.
