Choose your Christmas tree.
Charlie Town grows Norway spruce, Scotch pine and eastern white pine. Fir trees are described as coming later, so they should not be treated as available field stock. The posted tree price is $12 per foot for any available variety, including shaking and baling.
The grower describes hand tending the trees without fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides. Shapes and sizes vary naturally; compare the actual tree before cutting rather than expecting every specimen to share one form. Handmade wreaths and swags use local evergreens with optional cones and bows.

The farm visit.
Payment and a short weekend visit
Cash payment includes tax in the posted price; card payment adds 5.5%, and checks are not accepted. There are no public restrooms. The baseline selling days are weekends after Thanksgiving, 10am–4pm until sold out. Conflicting weekday exception text means a weekday trip should be arranged directly rather than assumed.
The farm is hilly, with uneven ground, animals and working equipment. Wear protective footwear suitable for the weather, watch your footing and follow posted signs when choosing a tree.

The operator publishes charlietownfarms@gmail.com for questions. No matched public voice number has been verified, so use the farm’s own email and website for the next opening and any particular tree requirements.
Which tree suits your timing?
The farm recommends buying Norway spruce no earlier than mid-December because its shorter needle retention is often about two to three weeks, while its strong branches suit heavier ornaments. Scotch pine is described as the farm favourite for retention; eastern white pine has softer, longer flexible needles and a mild scent. Firs are a future offering rather than a current field choice.
Put a fresh cut into water promptly and keep the base submerged. The farm recommends an appropriately sized reservoir, a cool position away from direct heat and daily water checks; it cautions against whittling the trunk to force it into a stand.
