Choose your Christmas tree.
Bowers’ Christmas lot at Burnside Farms sells precut trees only, displayed upright on tapered pins so visitors can compare their shape. Fraser fir is the main selection, with noble, Douglas and Turkish fir and blue spruce also listed. Trees are generally 6–12 feet, priced individually by size and variety. Larger special orders may be possible if arranged by early November.
After selection, staff give the trunk a fresh cut, bale the tree and secure it onto the vehicle. This is a precut shopping visit rather than a choose-and-cut field. The James Madison Highway Christmas location is separate from the family’s Nutley Street spring garden centre.

The Christmas shop and outdoor setting
Wreaths, garlands and centrepieces sit alongside cocoa bombs, homemade vanilla, Christmas treats and decorations. Visitors can pause by the fire for s’mores, see lights and decorations and use family-photo backdrops including an 1875 sleigh. Check any food charges or event-specific arrangements when visiting.
Photography and opening
Professional photography costs $50 per session per family, with check-in and payment to Chris or Lynsey before the session. The published selling baseline is the day after Thanksgiving until sold out, weekdays 11am–7pm and weekends 9am–7pm, weather permitting. Confirm reopening because the site currently displays a seasonal closed notice.
