Lenderink Tree Farm
A tree trip at Lenderink can unfold at an unhurried pace: search the fields, warm up with a drink, then let the crew prepare the tree for the ride home. Fraser fir is the main field choice, with pre-cut trees near the barn for a shorter visit. Tree purchases come with the farm’s seasonal extras, from trailer rides and the bonfire to marshmallows and weekend visits with Santa.

The farm visit.
From the fields to the car
Hand saws are provided for choosing and cutting a tree; power tools are not allowed. After the field walk, the crew shakes, bundles and drills the tree without an extra service charge. Twine is provided for the trip home, though bringing your own rope or straps gives you more options for securing it.
Tree shopping is first come, first served, without appointments or pre-tagging. A pre-cut tree near the barn offers a quicker alternative when there is one to suit your space.
A warm pause with Santa
A tree purchase includes hot chocolate and coffee, trailer rides, the bonfire and marshmallow roasting. Santa visits on weekends, giving families a chance to fit a photo into the tree trip. Bring a sled if there is suitable snow; the farm also has community sleds, and children need supervision.

The barn and refreshments
Tree stands, wreaths, garland, kissing balls, porch pots and holiday decorations are sold at the farm. You may bring your own snacks or lunch. Food trucks also feature in the seasonal visit, with their dates announced closer to opening.
Making the outdoor visit comfortable
Parking is free on site, and portable toilets are near the parking area. Keep speeds low around children and wagons. Fields and paths include grass and gravel, so a sturdy stroller or wagon works better than small wheels; babywearing can be easier when it is snowy or muddy.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash; clean up after them. The farm generally operates through ordinary winter weather, with unsafe-weather changes posted online.
