Choose your Christmas tree.
The farm’s main field choices are Scotch pine, White pine and Norway spruce, with other spruce and limited fir offerings depending on the growing areas. December stock notices describe that season’s species and heights; check the choices for your appointment with the farm.
Pre-cut trees are offered from tabletop sizes around 3ft through 12ft and taller. The farm also describes a small number of painted trees in seasonal colors and living potted Blue, Norway and Serbian spruce, White pine and Canaan trees around 36–48in.
Only tagged trees can be cut, even within an open field. Ask the greeters which fields are open. Hand saws and tree sleds are provided; gas and battery-powered saws are prohibited.

Booking a tree visit
Book an appointment for every pre-cut or choose-and-cut tree purchase. Each appointment covers one car; extra cars need their own appointments, using another email address or the following 15-minute time slot.
Follow the tree-visit page for the seasonal booking release. While the scheduler is not accepting online appointments, contact the office for arrangements. Your Schedulista confirmation email has the cancellation and rescheduling link.
You can shop for wreaths, white-pine roping, greenery or gift-shop items without an appointment during regular business hours. Visit only within the farm’s permitted hours and arrangements.
Included preparation and separate delivery
The crew shakes and bales the tree free of charge. Drilling for a compatible stand costs $4 when the tree is bought at the farm, and the Christmas shop sells stands and care supplies.
For delivery, arrange a separate quote with Quinn and Sons. The destination and tree size determine the cost.
Weekend trolley rides and hot cocoa
Add a train trolley ride on the Friday after Thanksgiving or a later weekend, weather permitting. The last ride leaves at 5pm.
Staff serve complimentary hot cocoa from the greeter shed on the Friday after Thanksgiving, then Saturdays and Sundays from 11am–5pm when employees are available. Each customer gets one cup, with no refills; these cocoa hours do not extend to every weekday appointment.
Fresh wreaths, garland and greenery
Choose a handmade wreath of fresh Douglas or Fraser fir greenery, with plain and decorated designs around 10–38in and larger wreaths available by preorder. Ribbons, bows, pine cones, berries and ornaments offer ways to finish the design.
Bring home garland or White pine roping by the foot, in 75ft coils, or in pre-cut 15ft, 20ft and 25ft lengths. Swags, candy-cane and cross wreaths, kissing balls and mailbox huggers add more fresh decorations. Small bough bundles are $6 each; arrange larger greenery bales with the office.
Christmas shop and family photographs
Browse the farm’s annual ornament, other ornaments, tree toppers, sleigh and jingle bells, candies and caramels in the Christmas shop. Advent calendars, candles and wreaths, Christmas puzzles and coloring books offer more holiday choices to take home.
Pick up practical supplies, including tree stands, a floor-protection tray, watering funnels and removal bags for trees up to 7.5ft or 12ft. For a family photo, find the snow-globe and height-chart boards; a toy car with a tree on top makes a spot for smaller children.
Bring a camera or use your phone for pictures during the tree-shopping visit. Staff can help with a group picture at the barn. Professional photography is not allowed during the Christmas season and requires separate appointments before the farm opens.
Wreath decorating workshop
Decorate a fresh wreath at the posted $60-per-person workshop, with the wreath and decorating supplies included. Book through the office while spaces are available. The workshop is in an unheated barn area, and the gift shop offers a place to warm up.
| Date | Time | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| December 3 | 6–8pm | $60 per person; wreath and decorating supplies included. |
Choosing a living tree
Choose a potted tree if you want a living option. Plan its care and transition outdoors before buying; the farm recommends no more than 10–14 days in a heated home.
Ask about the potted species and sizes available for your appointment. The listed range describes the farm’s offering and does not guarantee stock.
