Choose your Christmas tree.

The main pre-cut yard offers White pine, Scotch pine and Fraser fir. For on-site field cutting, follow the signed six-minute walking trail or take a tractor-pulled tram to Fraser fir and limited Concolor fir; there is also a White pine field along the entrance drive.

Cut only trees carrying sale tags. Saws are available at the fields, and complimentary carts help move a tree to your vehicle. Private vehicles cannot use the walking trail. The separate reserve field offers another Fraser fir shopping option, with its own payment and opening arrangements.

Selecting, processing and paying

Choose a tree in the pre-cut yard and the staff can give its trunk a fresh quarter-inch cut before shaking and baling. In the fields, select a tagged tree and use a provided saw, then bring it for shaking and baling. Tax and baling are included in the tree price.

Pay with a major credit card using the mobile checkout devices in the fields or front lot, or head to the red barn. Six tractor-pulled trams serve the main farm; the last outbound field transport is at 4pm CST, before darkness.

The off-site Fraser reserve field

The Fraser reserve field is a separate stop about 2.3 miles from the nursery. Leaving Hensler, turn left on 750 East and right on 600 North; the field is on the right. You can stop at the main farm’s shop and attractions before or after choosing a tree there.

Look for tagged Fraser firs around 6–10ft, including specially priced trees starting at $52. The field accepts credit cards only. Saws, carts, shaking, wrapping and baling are supplied, and parking and outdoor restrooms are available.
