Choose your Christmas tree.
White pine, Scotch pine and Canaan fir grow in the choose-and-cut fields. Canaan is also offered pre-cut, alongside Fraser, Concolor and Nordmann firs. Read the tagged species and price before cutting; the farm updates its tree information when a selection sells out.
White pine’s softer branches suit lighter decorations; the farm describes Scotch pine and Canaan fir as sturdier choices. For a tree 11ft or taller, arrange a custom order rather than assuming the ordinary height tiers cover it.

Wagon rides and bringing the tree home
Start the field visit with a wagon ride. All tree guests visiting November 27–29 need a reserved ride, and the ride payment goes toward the tree purchase. Follow the farm’s Christmas page for the reservation release and booking instructions.
Leave time to choose and cut before the last outbound wagon at 5:30pm. Field cutting ends at 6pm, even when the festival continues until 7pm. The crew can shake and bale the tree and help load it for the trip home.
Christmas festival days
Make a day of it on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday festival dates in the 2026 calendar; the listed Wednesdays and Thursdays are for tree sales only. Meet reindeer, St. Nick and Mrs. Claus, visit the live Nativity and Santa’s Workshop, and find Christmas characters and places for family photographs.
Between the Christmas stops, try the slides, barrel train, low ropes, trike track, hayrides, farm animals and putt-putt, or head to Tire Mountain and Straw Mountain. Pig Racers, duck races, roller bowlers, gravity-wagon basketball and the Sports Shed add more games, while younger visitors have the bubble bin, gravel pit and Doodle Truck.
Country air cannons, paintball and fire-pit rentals cost extra. Check the Christmas activity pass and its booking terms for your visit. Fall admission prices and fall season-pass rules do not set the cost of a Christmas visit.
| Activity | Dates | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Dog tree pulling | December 5–6 | Watch dogs help pull Christmas trees from the field. |
The Wreath Barn
Browse fresh wreaths, garlands, mantelpieces and mailbox decorations in the Wreath Barn, where ribbons and ornaments can finish a custom design. The selection includes 10–48in wreaths, boxwood wreaths, Advent pieces, door swags, candy-cane and cross shapes, centerpieces, grave blankets and grave pillows.
Custom orders begin in late October. For an extra-large wreath or a special design, ask for a quote or give the team a budget; the greens, size and added decorations affect the price. The number beside the visitor address connects to the custom-wreath line.
| Item | Price | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Grave blanket | $92 without bow; $122 with bow | Additional decorations cost more. |
| Grave pillow | $46 without bow; $66 with bow | Additional decorations cost more. |
| Custom mixed Fraser garland | $6 per foot | Custom length. |
| Undecorated wreath | $31–$188 | Depends on size and decoration. |
| Decorated wreath | $51–$79 | Depends on size and decoration. |
Food and a winter break
Stop at the Sugar Shack for apple-cider doughnuts and stroopwafels, visit the Feed Bunk for pulled pork and cider slushies, or choose burgers and hot dogs from the grill. Food is purchased separately from the tree.
Outside food is allowed only with designated private rentals, such as the tent, Wreath Barn or a fire pit. You can eat a packed lunch in the parking area and re-enter. Choose a festival date from the Christmas calendar for the wider range of activities.
