Choose your Christmas tree.

Choose a tagged tree in the fields or select a pre-cut tree at the barn. Bohman lists White pine, Canaan fir and Fraser fir among its tree offerings; a species listing does not mean every variety is available in both formats on every visit.

The individual white price tags account for tree size. Read a tag before cutting; the farm’s posted pricing basis includes taxes and fees for the tagged tree.

Getting to the field and back

Take a wagon through the rolling fields and bring the chosen tree back to the barn area, or walk out if you prefer. Saws are available, and staff can help get the tree ready for the trip home.

The crew offers shaking, a fresh trunk cut, drilling and baling, along with twine and help securing the tree. Stands and tree bags are sold at the farm; ask about any handling or accessory charges before choosing them.

The Christmas barn

Browse plain and decorated wreaths, custom greenery and pine garland in the barn, along with farm merchandise. Two sizes of tree stand accommodate different tree heights.

Warm up with cider, hot chocolate or coffee, and pick up popcorn at the concessions. A sleigh makes a spot for family photographs. Santa sometimes visits, though his appearances do not have a set date here.

Arriving at the visitor entrance

For the Christmas-tree entrance, use 387 North County Road 1000 East. The mailing address, 9966 East Base Road, serves a different purpose.

The loose-gravel parking area can be busy during tree-shopping hours. Leashed dogs are welcome, and the farm accepts major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
