The business is described as wheelchair accessible without a stated field-route scope. Discuss the actual route and assistance needed before the visit. Restrooms are listed. The other Van Wilgen garden-mart branches sell precuts; they do not share this choose-and-cut field.
The nursery also offers holiday containers using cut greens: bring a pot or choose one from its range, then contact the main team about the design, price and collection arrangements. General nursery delivery has a separate ZIP-based fee and does not establish included Christmas-tree home delivery.
Main-store facilities and tree care
The North Branford main-store parking lot has an electric-vehicle charging space, with free charging during business hours. This is the main-store facility, rather than a service promised at the smaller Garden Marts.
The operator’s care advice recommends a fresh trunk cut, steady watering and keeping a cut tree away from heating ducts and vents. Its expectation of lasting through Christmas depends on that care; it is not a Christmas-tree guarantee.
Professional photography in the fields
Professional photographers must provide a certificate of insurance before the session and arrange the date and time with the nursery. The published meeting point is near the red barn at the main Christmas field; photographers and clients use the far end of the main parking lot. Keep roads clear for customers and staff, and return any shopping carts after use. Contact the nursery for permission, availability and fees before bringing clients.
December cookie decorating with Frosty
The North Branford main location schedules cookie decorating on December 5 and 12, from 11am–2pm at 51 Valley Road, with Frosty and games. RSVP and payment in advance are required; these are main-location events, rather than Garden Mart activities.
Each $20 kit contains one twelve-inch snowman gingerbread cookie and one eight-inch ornament sugar cookie, with frosting and candy for decorating. Tell staff about food allergies before ordering. The kit is a separate purchase from a Christmas tree; tax and refund terms are not established in the event description.
