Choose your Christmas tree.
Old Saybrook Garden Center offers seasonal cut Christmas trees from five to ten feet and wreaths at the former Scott’s Farm Store location. This is the successor garden center at 356 Middlesex Turnpike, rather than a second branch of the old store.
The product page displays $65 but explicitly says purchases are in store only and prices vary from year to year. Treat that amount as a posted example and ask for the price of the tree you select.

Delivery for a tree purchase
The garden center’s delivery service explicitly includes Christmas trees and advertises free delivery in town for purchases over $150. Delivery outside that area has a fee. Confirm your address, chosen tree, total purchase and delivery date directly before relying on the offer; the website does not publish the out-of-town charge.
Arrange delivery or pickup in advance and ask for the full quote before confirming. The general policy describes a service radius of approximately three hundred miles, subject to the destination, product, order, staffing, vehicle, weather and safe access. Delivery windows are estimates unless guaranteed in writing; provide access details and arrange for an authorized adult to receive the order unless agreed otherwise. Changes, unsafe or blocked access, extra labor or a missed handoff may add charges.
| Service | Conditions |
|---|---|
| In-town delivery | Free for purchases over $150; confirm tree, address and date |
| Outside town | Delivery fee applies; ask for quote and service area |
Plan an in-store purchase
The home page currently posts weekends 10am–4pm until Black Friday, while a generic footer says daily 9am–6pm. Neither establishes the final Christmas selling program. Check tree arrival, the intended opening and any wrapping or loading service before travelling.
Use the garden center’s voice number for a call; its separately advertised text contact is a different channel. The center’s wider tropical, perennial and landscape inventory does not establish a living Christmas-tree selection.
Payment and return arrangements
Applicable taxes and disclosed service charges are additional. Under the posted policy, customers cannot cancel an order after payment; the operator may refund portions it cannot fulfill. Service charges are refundable only when the service was not provided. The general seven-day plant-return policy requires verification and inspection, and does not expressly establish a cut Christmas-tree return right.
