Precut Christmas tree
Choose from precut Christmas trees at the farmstand. Ask about current availability, species, size, price and base-cutting arrangements.
Potted Christmas tree
Choose a living plant with its own container and care needs. Agree its transport and after-Christmas plan before purchase.
Maple Bank Farm’s winter offering includes both precut and potted Christmas trees at its Route 317 farmstand. Choose the format that suits taking home a cut tree or caring for a living plant; ask about the potted species, root/container size and care requirements before purchase.
Handmade fresh-greens wreaths and poinsettias accompany the trees. The winter page also lists apples, winter squash, root vegetables, leafy greens and other seasonal produce. Those are farmstand offerings rather than an implied pick-your-own Christmas-tree field.
The Roxbury farmstand
The farmstand normally runs from the end of April through December 23, Tuesday–Sunday 10am–5:30pm, with Monday closed. Confirm current Christmas-tree availability and holiday hours before travelling; general farmstand openings do not guarantee tree stock.
Call 860-350-0772 to confirm current tree availability and stock arrivals, available species and heights, prices, base cutting and loading arrangements. Potted trees have their own transport and care needs, so agree those details before choosing one.
Leave pets at home. Cash is preferred, and the farm also accepts all credit cards, Apple Pay and Cash App.
A winter farmstand visit
The winter farmstand combines trees, handmade wreaths and bright poinsettias with apples and cool-season produce such as leafy greens, carrots, beets, leeks and winter squash. Check the day’s selection when planning holiday shopping.
Seeing the farm’s sheep is a longstanding part of a farmstand visit. Ask staff about winter access to the flock before adding that stop; no animal-feeding or petting programme is advertised.
