Choose your Christmas tree.
Fairview’s previously published season offered choose-and-cut trees up to 10 feet for $108 plus tax, with the saw and staff carrying, wrapping, loading and tie-on included. Fields do not have trees taller than 10 feet for visitors to cut. For a taller room, the precut range runs around 5–14 feet, with larger-tree enquiries arranged ahead. The association’s field selection names white, Colorado blue, Norway and Serbian spruce; Fraser and Canaan fir, limited concolor fir, and white pine. Ask which varieties and heights remain available rather than treating the full list as today’s stock.
The operator also lists living balled-and-burlapped Fraser fir, blue spruce, Norway spruce and white spruce. Confirm current root-ball sizes and transport arrangements rather than treating these as part of the cut-tree price. Cash is preferred and cards are accepted. The homepage says field cutting closed at the end of the previous season and looks forward to returning; check the new announcement for current field availability.

Tree shopping and handcrafted greenery
Daytime tree selection does not require a reservation. The Christmas Shoppe sells ornaments and gifts, while handcrafted wreaths range from 12 inches to 4 feet, plain or decorated. Custom wreaths need arranging and quantities are limited. Roping, cemetery boxes and other greens are separate purchases.
Weekend concessions include hot cider, freshly made donuts, popcorn and other treats. Leashed dogs are allowed during the daytime visit, with cleanup; this does not establish night-event pet access. The fall Legends of Fear attraction has its own season and admission.
Santa rides and Night of Lights
The earlier programme’s weekend Santa visits were 11:30am–3:30pm, with tractor hayrides 1–3pm. The ride asks an $8-per-person charity donation and is first come, first served with limited places.
The earlier Night of Lights ran November 29–December 21 on select nights, with hours of 5–8pm that varied on some evenings. This separate reserved 30-minute wagon ride passed illuminated tree fields and holiday scenes, with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch, plus a bonfire and treats. The previous ticket was $27.50 per person; children age 2 and under were free only when lap riding. Arrive 30 minutes before your booked time. Tickets are advance-only, without group sales; evening precut shopping 5–8pm was reserved for ticket holders.

Schedules and weather policies
The earlier calendar ran November 28–December 21, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Its Night of Lights dates were November 29 and December 5–7, 12–14 and 19–21. The main daytime schedule gives Wednesday–Thursday 10 am–4:30 pm and Friday–Sunday 9 am–4:30 pm, while the footer gives a 5 pm finish. The industry profile has a different, undated daily 10 am–4 pm pattern through December 23. Confirm renewed dates and the day’s closing time before a late visit.
Tree, wreath, ornament, stand and event sales are final. The event weather policy has a specific exception: if the farm cancels for safety, customers can transfer dates or receive an automatic refund three days after the cancellation announcement. Ordinary tickets must be used at their booked date and time.
A stop to see the farm goats
The farm’s resident goats are another possible stop during a visit. Visitors are asked not to pet them; the farm lists fresh carrots and lettuce as welcome snacks. Ask staff about winter access to their area before adding the stop to your tree visit.
Firewood by the wheelbarrow or cord
Smaller firewood loads can be collected at the farm during operating hours, with staff loading while you wait. Larger seasoned hardwood orders have separate delivery arrangements. The published cord prices are cash on delivery; an additional delivery charge applies outside Shelton. Confirm the current order total and pickup payment method.
| Quantity | Posted price | Collection / payment condition |
|---|---|---|
| Wheelbarrow | $25 | Farm pickup only during operating hours |
| Half cord, 64 cubic feet | $225 | Cash on delivery; extra delivery charge outside Shelton |
| Full cord, 128 cubic feet | $350 | Cash on delivery; extra delivery charge outside Shelton |
