The Manchester Community Support Group carries on the former Eighth District tree-sale tradition at 18 Main Street. Volunteers help customers choose from small through very large fresh trees and load them into vehicles. Proceeds support fire victims and local community programs.
A previous sale report gave $50 regular trees and $125 for the four remaining giant trees, with $5 off for bringing at least three nonperishable food items. Those are previous-season offers with limited giant-tree stock, not a current price guarantee.
Delivery and community giving
The same report offered delivery for $5 inside Manchester and $10 outside, only when volunteers were available, typically on weekends. Confirm the current delivery offer, area and timing rather than assuming a paid order guarantees a slot. The reported food-drive discount also needs confirmation for the coming sale. That previous-season report also said all forms of payment were accepted; confirm the current lot’s payment options before relying on a particular method.
| Previously reported offer | Price and exact condition |
|---|---|
| Regular tree | $50; previous-season report |
| Remaining giant tree | $125; report referred to four remaining trees |
| Food-drive discount | $5 off with three or more nonperishable items |
| Delivery | $5 inside Manchester / $10 outside, when volunteers available |
Lot hours and Santa
The operator’s undated schedule lists Wednesday 5:30pm–8pm, Thursday 5pm–8:30pm, Friday 5pm–9pm and weekends 9am–8:30pm. A later report gives different evening/weekend hours, so check the current announcement. Holiday lights and music are described; Santa may appear, rather than being promised every visit.
Two previously published hour patterns
The operator’s undated selling pattern and a later previous-season news report give different evening hours. The report listed Wednesday–Friday 5pm–8:30pm and weekends 9am–9pm. Confirm the new sale schedule before travelling, especially for a late visit.
