Search the field
Published field trees are 5–8 feet, individually priced. Supplied carts help bring the tree back; field access ends at 4pm even when the shop stays open later.
Choose a precut
The published precut range is 6–8 feet, with fir, spruce and white pine described by the association. Confirm the actual size, variety and marked price.
Match branches to decorations
The farm’s variety guide describes blue spruce as strong and prickly, while white pine has soft needles and supports lighter ornaments. Compare the actual harvestable trees with your decorations.
Hickory Ridge offers individually priced field trees and precuts at its South River Road farm in Coventry. Published sizes are 5–8 feet for choose-and-cut and 6–8 feet for precuts. The farm names Fraser, Canaan, concolor and Douglas fir, Norway and blue spruce and white pine across its tree information; ask which varieties are available in the intended size.
Saws and carts are supplied. You may bring a personal hand saw, but chainsaws and customer cars in the fields are prohibited. Shaking and wrapping are free. The fields close at 4pm even when the selling area’s published hours continue until 5pm.

Greenery and practical arrangements
The barn’s decoration range includes single-sided wreaths made from fresh fir and pine on twelve-inch rings, with hand-decorated bows available; handmade pine-box arrangements, decorated or plain fir-and-pine sprays, and boughs sold by the bundle offer other choices. Cinco stands, watering spouts and tree bags are also sold. The stand range supports trees up to 12 feet, which describes the accessory’s capacity rather than the height of trees currently available in the fields. Check the day’s selection rather than assuming every catalogue item is in stock.
Payment, pets and facilities
A portable toilet is listed. Leashed dogs are welcome, and professional photography is prohibited. Payment is by cash, Visa, Mastercard or Discover; American Express is not accepted.
Check the next opening
The operator displays a closure for the previous Christmas season, not a permanent closure. Previously published hours are Wednesday/Thursday noon–5pm and Friday–Sunday 9am–5pm, closed Monday/Tuesday. Confirm the next seasonal opening and use the earlier 4pm field cutoff when planning a cutting visit. The association’s posted opening date is Friday, November 27; confirm which seasonal calendar applies before travelling.
