Choose your Christmas tree.
Dumas lets you walk the fields or browse precut trees near the parking area. The operator names Fraser and Canaan fir, with limited white and blue spruce, and advertises trees up to 16 feet. The association profile describes some extra-large Fraser firs up to 20 feet, so call about the actual oversize stock and handling before planning a trip. Measure the space at home and arrange enough carrying help and a suitable vehicle.
The tree page posts $80 through eight feet and $10 per foot starting at nine feet, including tax, baling and shaking where the tree fits the equipment. The FAQ still posts $70 through eight feet and $70 for seven-to-nine-foot precuts, with its taller-tree rate applying above eight feet. These amounts and height bands conflict, so agree the individual tree’s total before cutting or buying.

Cutting and handling
Handsaws and field carts are supplied. Chainsaws and driving vehicles into the fields are prohibited; your own electric reciprocating saw is allowed. Bring helpers and a tarp for a tree too heavy or large for a cart.
Shaking is limited to trees eight feet and under, and the FAQ says trees over eight feet cannot be baled. Staff loading help depends on staffing; securing the tree is your responsibility. Twine is provided, but the farm recommends bringing your own suitable tie-downs.

Extra-large tree appointments
If you cannot move an extra-large tree from the field to the processing area, call for a Monday–Wednesday appointment while the farm is closed to ordinary visitors. The $25 service allows tractor assistance with cutting and transport to the parking area. It is unavailable during regular opening hours, and the farm cannot load these heavy trees onto passenger cars or vans; bring an appropriate truck or trailer.
The wreath shop and practical arrangements
The wreath shop opens Saturday and Sunday only, with handmade wreaths and swags priced by size and decoration. The posted farm programme lists complimentary hot cider, with a woodstove for a warm stop after the field visit.
Payment, pets and the Little Lane entrance
Dogs must stay on a leash, and a portable toilet is available.
Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted; Venmo is not. Trees cannot be tagged for later collection. Follow Little Lane all the way to its end: the farm warns that GPS may stop partway down the road. The homepage announces a November 27 opening, but the detailed calendar pairs later dates with conflicting weekdays. Confirm the intended selling day and stock before travelling; the farm can close when its tree inventory runs out.
