Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Herzig’s small family farm grows white spruce, blue spruce and Fraser fir. You can choose and cut, or ask for help with cutting, carrying, netting and tying the tree; the farm explicitly offers that help at no added cost. Saws and field carts are supplied, and wrapping is free.
In-season tagging is available. Arrange the selection and collection details with the farm rather than assuming a tree can be left indefinitely. The current visitor address is 310 Maiden Lane; an older Johnson Lane address should not be used as a second tree entrance.
Published varieties
- White spruce
- Blue spruce
- Fraser fir

- Upward branches and good needle retention; firmer branches can suit heavier ornaments.
- Blue spruce
- Blue to silver-blue foliage with sharp needle tips.
- White & Black Hills spruce
- Gray-green to blue-green needles, less sharp than blue spruce.
