Choose your Christmas tree.
Chrysalis Center has hosted a public outdoor Christmas-tree and wreath sale at its Homestead Avenue campus. The previously announced selection was fresh-cut balsam fir, with 6–7-foot trees at $35 and 7–8-foot trees at $40. Those historical event prices are not a current stock or price guarantee.
The fundraiser supports the nonprofit’s services. Sponsored complimentary trees were reserved for qualifying North End Hartford families; that program did not make trees free for every public buyer. Ask the organization about the next sale and any current eligibility arrangements.

Wreaths, baked goods and family activities
The earlier sale listed wreaths at $15 and holiday bows at $8–$10, with baked goods from La Cocina, the organization’s culinary-training social enterprise. Take-home children’s holiday activities accompanied the event. Food and greenery were separate purchases, not a blanket tree-price inclusion.
