This small North Boulder farm grows rooted Blue Spruce, Douglas fir and Scotch pine for choosing and cutting. Field trees are five to seven feet tall: Blue Spruce and Douglas are $14 per foot, and Scotch pine is $11 per foot. Less-perfect shapes may have discounted tags, with the operator publishing an overall field-tree price range of $42–$98.
Choose your tree in the field and use the saws provided, or select it, tag it and pay, then return to cut it closer to Christmas. If you prefer something different, the farm lists five-to-eight-foot pre-cut Douglas, Noble and Fraser firs brought from plantation growers. Confirm the pre-cut prices and current varieties before relying on a particular tree. Potted living trees are explicitly unavailable in the published season, so the field-cut and pre-cut choices are the options to plan around.

An artists’ garden while you choose
Elizabeth Black and Christopher Brown have filled the farm with sculptures and garden environments to explore during tree selection. The published visit includes marshmallow grilling, hot apple cider, a chairlift swing and the Hi-ho Silver rocking horse. Those smaller details give this one-acre urban farm a distinct setting without needing a long mountain drive.
Come during the announced 9am–dusk cutting hours, with no early arrivals. Dogs, chainsaws and professional photo shoots are not permitted. On North 13th Street between Upland and Violet, look for the mailbox sign and giant candy canes at the entrance; only a few trees are visible from the road.

Handmade wreaths and a separate summer tradition
The $45 wreaths combine fresh greenery from the farm and local thinning work with cones, rose hips, colorful stems and dried flowers. Supply is limited. From November 27, choose from the display hanging beside the house near the driveway and place payment in the honey box as directed by the farm.
The farm also grows small seedling trees to give away in a separate summer programme, usually in late May or early June with specific dates announced on its website. These climate-suited seedlings and planting instructions belong to that summer visit, not a free item promised with a Christmas tree.
