Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Church Farm grows one kind of tree, the Murray cypress. The farm says it chose this tree because it lasts through the Christmas season after being cut, has strong branches for decorating and drops minimal needles. It has hundreds of trees of all sizes, up to 12 feet tall, and invites you to choose your favorite.
The farm publishes no size tiers and no price ladder. Trees start at $55 and increase in price as they increase in size.

Choose-and-cut Murray cypress
Church Farm describes itself as a 50-acre farm with hundreds of Christmas trees of all sizes. You pick out the tree you like and cut it down yourself with a handsaw provided at the farm. The team is there to help with any part of the process.
Trees start at $55 and increase in price as they increase in size, and the farm has trees that reach 12 feet. That starting price is the only one the farm publishes, so confirm the price of a larger tree at the farm. The farm does not say whether tax applies.
| Selection & size | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Murray cypress, starting price | From $55 per tree | Choose-and-cut; the price rises with size |
| Murray cypress, larger trees up to 12 feet | Not published | Priced by size; the farm lists no other figure |

Saws, shaking, netting and tying on
The farm provides a handsaw for each family at the entrance. It suggests cutting at the base and leaving a 12-inch handle of trunk so the tree fits your stand at home.
The team will help with any part of the process, including cutting the tree, moving it to the shaking station and tying it to your roof. The farm does not say whether any of these steps costs extra.
| Step | What the farm says |
|---|---|
| Choose | Pick your favorite tree from the hundreds in the field |
| Cut | Cut it with a handsaw provided at the entrance of the farm, for each family; the team will help |
| Shake | The team puts the tree in a shaker to remove fallen needles |
| Net | The team bales the tree in netting for easy transport |
| Tie on | The farm provides twine and will help tie the tree to the top of any car by looping rope through the windows; no roof rack or truck bed is needed |
Selling days and hours

The farm does not publish a sell-out rule, a weather policy or an appointment option. The farm’s online booking pages list nothing to book for tree visits.

Coffee, hot apple cider and kids’ crafts
The farm provides coffee and hot apple cider to keep you warm while you choose the perfect tree, and there are Christmas crafts for kids on site so everyone can join in the family fun. The farm publishes no price or separate hours for the drinks or crafts.
Caring for your tree at home
The farm advises that a stand, water and decorations are all you need. Keep the stand full of water, and lay a towel around the stand when you fill it. The farm says a well-watered Murray cypress lasts around two months.
Photographer sessions and business orders are separate
Professional photographers shooting client sessions must register in advance and pay a $100 session fee for full-day access. The rules include no cutting, climbing or damaging trees, no artificial snow, glitter or confetti, designated areas only, no smoking, alcohol or open flames, clean up of props and trash, pets leashed at all times, and no drones without written permission. The farm’s photography page does not say whether a family may take its own photos on an ordinary visit.
The farm also takes orders from businesses for live trees through a form on its tree delivery page, and it runs a separate cabin and lodge venue for weddings and events on the same property. Neither is part of a tree visit, and the farm publishes no delivery prices, minimums or wedding rates.
