Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose and cut a balsam, Canaan or Fraser fir in Stella, or compare the individually priced pre-cut trees if you prefer to stay out of the field. Field fir prices are split into height bands through 10 feet; taller trees are also offered, so check the available variety, height and price before travelling for a large one.
Borrow a bow saw and a plastic sled to bring your tree out. Only foot traffic is allowed in the fields. Handsaws and reciprocating saws are allowed, but gas and electric chainsaws are prohibited. Tree prices include Wisconsin sales tax, shaking and baling; extra-large trees may not fit through the baler. Twine is supplied for securing the tree to your vehicle.
