Waupaca Christmas Tree Farm
ANR’s Waupaca farm has more than 44 acres of trees, with Balsam and Fraser fir up to about 9½ feet. Free tractor-and-trailer rides, supplied bow saws and tree shaking support a traditional field visit, with smaller precuts and a gift shop beside the selling area.

The farm visit.
A field visit with smaller precut alternatives
Free tractor-and-trailer rides take visitors into the fields, and a sharp bow saw is supplied. Tree shaking and sisal twine are complimentary. Twine baling is available to compress the tree for carrying, transport and getting through a doorway; the operator does not identify it as free. You may also bring your own handsaw, chainsaw or Sawzall; the farm’s FAQ permits these alternatives. Tree wrapping reduces the tree to about an 18-inch shipping diameter, making it easier to carry through a doorway.
Balsam and Fraser fir are the operator’s named field focus, with heights up to 9½ feet. Concolor fir is also listed; availability depends on the field’s current stock. Smaller precuts beside the store are generally listed at $5–$12 and suit a smaller room or decorative outdoor planter.
The posted flyer prices distinguish species and trees below 9 feet from the 9–11-foot bands. Credit-card payment has no surcharge. The flyer’s taller price bands are not a promise that every height remains in stock.
| Selection and height | Price |

Wreaths, gifts and planning
The gift shop has ornaments and holiday decorations; the wreath area offers traditional and shaped wreaths, kissing balls and garland. Call ahead for a particular wreath or garland size and quantity, so it can be ready when you arrive. The farm makes Fraser-fir wreaths as well as selling the trees.
Dogs are welcome. Pretagging does not reserve a tree: another customer can still cut it. The posted flyer lists November 15–16, 22–23 and 28–30, plus December 5–7, 12–14 and 19–21, 9am–4pm. The farm page stops at December 14, so confirm the last weekend and remaining stock before planning a trip around December 19–21.
Use the Waupaca farm on Highway 54, 2½ miles west of town, opposite Smith Lane. The operator states that its Wild Rose location is closed; that is a different field, not this visitor destination.
