The farm visit.

Cut a field tree or choose a precut

Walk the fields to choose Balsam, Fraser or Canaan fir or Blue spruce. The posted $5-per-foot rate applies to these field trees. Precuts are also listed for the farm by the industry profile, but the operator’s specified 7–9ft Balsam and Fraser inventory belongs to its separate Appleton-area lot.

Tree baling is available. Both the Suring farm and the Appleton-area lot offer handmade wreaths, but the hayride, fire and field-cutting experience belong to this farm location.

A weekend farm outing

The Suring farm combines the tree outing with hayrides, a campfire and hot chocolate. Tree baling is available after cutting. Handmade wreaths are sold at both of the operator’s locations, while the cutting fields, rides and campfire belong to this farm.

The operator’s posted farm calendar is weekends November 25–December 16, 10am–4pm. The industry profile also describes a Friday-after-Thanksgiving start including Black Friday; confirm the active selling days before travelling. Use the west side of Highway 32 about 1½ miles south of Anderson Lake, rather than the separate Appleton lot.
