Choose your Christmas tree.
The Summers family’s 130 acres offer a substantial choice of firs and spruces. Choose-and-cut firs include Fraser, Balsam, Canaan, Douglas, Korean and Concolor; spruce choices include Colorado blue, White and Norway. Field firs and spruces are each listed at $90. Pre-cut trees are a separate selection in the shed near the Christmas shop.
For the field option, follow the gravel drive to the parking staff and expect a short hike over hilly ground. Species areas are marked and saws are supplied. Arrive by 4pm for cutting; staff bale the tree and help put it onto your vehicle when you return.

The farm visit.
Christmas shop and weekend treats
The shop combines ornaments and tree stands with home decorations and gift items. Fresh wreaths are offered in 24- and 36-inch sizes, alongside boughs and red dogwood twigs while supplies last.
Eplegaarden Apple Orchard sells cider and donuts on weekends, with availability limited to its supply. It is an inviting stop after a hillside walk, and a separate purchase from the tree.
Choose your visiting time
The farm opens the Friday after Thanksgiving and runs daily, with an earlier finish on Christmas Eve. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Dogs can join you if kept on a leash.
