Choose your Christmas tree.
Riverside’s choose-and-cut fields include Fraser and Canaan fir, White spruce and Black Hills spruce. Fir choices extend from smaller trees to about 13 feet, and an indoor area holds pre-cuts, including tabletop sizes. The park-like grounds border the Maunesha River, with most parking on gravel or paving rather than in a field.
Cut only trees carrying a colored ribbon. The ribbon identifies the tree’s type and cost. Hand saws and sleds are provided; shaking and baling are free. All listed tree prices include sales tax, and payment is cash or personal check only.

Firs and spruces by height
The price breaks are unusually precise, so keep the ribbon and the complete height band together when comparing trees. The two largest fir bands both mention 12 feet, and the spruce bands both mention 7 feet 6 inches; the tag settles the price of a tree at those boundaries.

Greenery and weekend refreshments
Inside the shop, look for wreaths, swags, kissing balls and porch pots. Fraser wreaths can reach four feet, offering a choice for larger doors or outdoor displays. Weekends bring complimentary hot cocoa and homemade chocolate cookies.
Weekday afternoons and weekend mornings have different hours, with Thanksgiving closed and an earlier Black Friday start. Confirm the renewed opening date before traveling; the seasonal closing banner means the previous stock has sold, not that the farm has permanently closed.
