Choose your Christmas tree.

Ridgetop’s field choices include White and Scots pine, Fraser, Balsam and Concolor fir, and Colorado blue, White and Meyer spruce. The regular price list sets pines at $40, spruces at $55 and the firs at $55–$70. Trees under six feet have a separate per-foot rate: $7 for pines and $9 for spruce or fir.

The farm’s inventory update expects a more limited fir selection than spruce and pine, with all types represented around seven feet. Treat a particular height and species as a reason to confirm availability before the drive, rather than assuming every field will have an equal choice.

Handling and payment details

Tree baling costs $5 and is available only during regular operating hours. Tree bags are $2, and credit or debit payments carry a $2 processing fee. Twine is free from the red boxes.

Cash, local checks, Venmo and cards are accepted. If you arrange an appointment outside ordinary hours, ask about handling needs in advance, because the baler is not available then.

Field rules and appointments

Weekends after Thanksgiving are 10am–4pm; weekdays are by appointment, including possible pre-season weekday visits. Dogs must stay leashed and under control, and owners must remove their waste.

Only the tree-growing areas are open to customers. Adults should handle the sharp saws and clippers, and everyone should watch for uneven ground, holes, branches, stumps and seedlings. Leave tags, stakes and markers where they are, and leave stump cultures intact.
