Choose your Christmas tree.
The Canaan Farm specialises in Canaan fir and supplies sleds for moving through the field visit. This is the Dam Road branch; the Fraser Farm on Saturn Road is a separate visitor location.
Handsaws are supplied, and staff cutting is available for a $10 fee. If you want to use your own small motorised saw, check in with the operator and complete the required waiver before using it. Complimentary shaking, baling and drilling prepare the tree; drilling is specifically for the Answer Stand system sold at the farm.

The farm visit.
Payment and a warm break
Bring cash or a check; credit cards are not accepted. Warming sheds and complimentary cider give you a break after searching the fields.
Greenery and handmade pieces
Browse handmade ornaments, wreaths and roping alongside your Christmas tree. Contact Jim or Pattie about the specific branch and tree choices before travelling.
Choose the correct field
Use the branch address for navigation. The operator’s Ogema home address is separate from both public fields, and older Hickory Road directions should not replace the current branch address.
