O’Malley’s pairs fresh-cut Fraser and Balsam firs with a wider Christmas visit: weekend hayrides, Santa, a bonfire and hot chocolate included with a tree purchase. Field cutting is a limited part of the offering, while netting and vehicle loading are provided at no charge.

The farm visit.
Choose a tree and let the crew help
The main selection is pre-cut Fraser and Balsam fir. If you want to cut your own, saws are available, but the farm describes only a very limited field selection. Tree netting and loading onto your car are free; the association also describes tie-down assistance.
The office’s summer nursery hours concern a different season. Use the Christmas arrangements and latest farm update when planning a tree visit.
Weekend Christmas activities
On weekends, activities are included with a tree purchase. The tractor-pulled hayride lasts about 15 minutes and takes visitors through the farm, with a Christmas scavenger hunt and a small prize for children who complete it. Bundle up for the ride.
Santa’s published visiting hours are 10 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and Black Friday. Children can bring letters for his mailbox. Hot chocolate is included with a tree purchase, and there is a bonfire with seating nearby.
Handmade decorations and food
The family makes wreaths, gnomes, porch pots, hanging pots, wooden reindeer and snowmen. These are separate shopping choices and can sell out. The Food Hut advertises DIY s’mores kits, soft pretzels and cinnamon rolls; food prices and inclusion should be checked rather than assuming the tree covers every purchase.
Book a separate photography visit
Photography space costs $50 an hour, with one-, two-, three- and four-hour bookings. A photographer is not included. Count setup and cleanup within the reserved time, sign the photographer waiver before arriving, and use the supplied map to stay in designated photo areas.
Christmas weekday sessions, Monday–Thursday, can use the pre-cut rows and the choose-and-cut fields from November 18 until the farm sells out, typically by mid-December. The pre-cut rows are described as six-to-ten-foot Fraser and Balsam firs with a wooden sleigh backdrop. The source labels its busier field-only photography option Friday–Saturday; confirm any Sunday request directly rather than assuming access to the pre-cut display.
Bookings are nonrefundable, including unused booked time. Request a weather or illness reschedule at least 24 hours ahead through Maggie@omalleyfamilyfarm.com; cancellations and no-shows receive no refund. Leashed pets and small props are allowed, with cleanup required. Park in the designated lots or mapped paths, with no vehicles in the fields or along public roads; bring a cart if your equipment needs one.
The photography guidelines list a portable restroom and no changing areas. Stay off equipment and structures, keep clear of electric fencing and farm animals, and keep children with an adult. Drones, smoking, vaping and alcohol are prohibited. These arrangements concern booked photography sessions and have their own rules, apart from shopping for a tree.
