Choose your Christmas tree.
Mildbrand specialises in balsam fir, a northern-Wisconsin tree with soft, aromatic needles. Its farm-grown trees develop their blue-green colour naturally, without green dyes or colour sprays. Hand trimming gives the trees individual branch patterns rather than a uniformly dense shape, leaving room for ornaments.
Local visitors are welcome at the choose-and-cut lot on Highway 13 about five miles north of Medford. Watch for the Mildbrand Christmas Tree Farm sign at the top of the hill on the east side of the road.

Arrange your field visit
Contact Scott or Gail to confirm the field’s selling days, available trees and cutting arrangements. Use the Highway 13 visitor farm rather than treating the Whittlesey Avenue contact address as a second public field.
Order a tree for shipping
The separate mail-order service hand-selects a balsam fir for your requested height and width, with a 6.5-foot maximum for UPS shipping. The farm suggests ordering by November 15 and ships on the date you request after receiving the printed order form and a check or money order. Call for the shipping charge to your address.
If you are dissatisfied with the shipped tree, the operator asks you to return it for a refund of the tree purchase price; shipping is excluded. These mail-order conditions do not establish field prices, field height limits or choose-and-cut payment rules.
