Choose your Christmas tree.
The Hayward farm covers 80 acres east of town, with choose-and-harvest trees and fresh pre-cuts. Balsam and Canaan fir and white pine are priced by the foot; Fraser firs are individually priced for size and quality.
Borrow a saw for field cutting. The crew shakes, bales, loads and securely ties down your tree while you warm up in the sales shop. Fresh pre-cuts are harvested weekly; ask about the available height and variety before relying on a particular tall tree.
The Wisconsin field selection extends up to 15 feet, with smaller trees from roughly 3–4 feet depending on stock. Pre-cuts range from tabletop sizes into taller room-height choices; contact the farm about the exact upper height available. Early tagging is offered in November, with harvest and payment later in the season; confirm the tagging start before visiting.

A warm shop and a holiday photograph
Complimentary hot cocoa, coffee and popcorn are offered in the heated sales shop, with a restroom available. The farm takes a family photograph by a decorated tree and displays it for collection the following season. Pets are welcome.
Handmade greenery
Wreaths, swags and roping are made during the selling season from balsam and Fraser fir, white pine and cedar boughs. Look for handmade bows, pine cones and other seasonal decorations as well as plain greenery.
