Compare heights before choosing
Balsam and Fraser fir are priced by height: trees 8 feet and under are $65; 8–11 feet $80; 11–15 feet $100; over 15 feet $120. The farm describes trees around 20 feet and taller, so discuss a very tall tree and the published overlapping band endpoints before cutting. Precut trees are individually tagged.
Alongside traditionally shaped trees, the farm has unsheared and less conventional shapes. For a tree over 20 feet, arrange help and transport before cutting; the FAQ describes this larger stock beyond the homepage’s general range. Trees can look smaller in the field than they will indoors with the stand.
Handsaws are provided, or you may bring your own. Workers and tractor drivers can help with cutting. Once the tree is down, take it to the nearest lane for the wagon; the farm provides the tree ride, shaking, baling and twine without an extra charge. A numbered receipt keeps your purchase matched while you browse.
Cut low and straight across so there is enough trunk for your stand. Drag the tree butt-end first to the nearest lane and ask a worker if you need help; tractor drivers can assist with sawing or summon someone. Bring securing straps if you prefer your own, or use the free twine after baling.

Handmade greens and local treats
Wreaths start at $20 and porch pots at $40. The farm makes wreaths, garland and decorative bows on site; swags, maple syrup, honey and popcorn are also sold. Ask about separate do-it-yourself decoration classes if you would like to make a group outing of it. The DIY classes are separately arranged experiences, not part of the ordinary tree price.
Leashed dogs are welcome, and cash, checks and cards are accepted. Free wagon rides are specifically described for weekends. The posted seasonal schedule is Thursday–Sunday 9am–4pm, November 28–December 21, with Monday–Wednesday closed.
