A winter use for the drive-in lot
The same family behind the Fond du Lac custard restaurant runs the seasonal Christmas-tree sale. Once the restaurant closes for its normal winter break in mid-November, the parking lot changes into a tree-shopping stop, opening around the following Friday.
Buy a pre-cut tree
This is a parking-lot pre-cut offering rather than a field-cutting farm. Balsam fir is directly described by the owners, while a full current variety and height list needs checking. The selling season ends when the available trees are sold.
Ask the business about opening times, price and preparation or loading arrangements before traveling. The restaurant’s summer hours do not establish tree-lot hours.
Keep the two seasons separate
Use 819 South Main Street in Fond du Lac. The restaurant is normally closed during the tree-lot period, so ordinary food service should not be assumed part of the Christmas visit. Any holiday dessert pickup is a separately announced arrangement with its own dates.
