Choose your Christmas tree.
East Wind’s main display centers on Wisconsin-grown pre-cut Fraser, Balsam and Canaan firs, with posted sizes from 5 to 22 feet. Supply in each size is limited. The farm says it does not charge separately for inches; prices increase when the tree passes a foot mark. Real painted trees use the pre-cut size price plus $24.95, with Midnight Blue, Bubble Gum Pink, Holly Berry Red, Turquoise, Sugar Plum Purple, Snowfall White, Gold Medallion and Santa’s Boots Black among the listed colors.
The limited choose-and-cut selection is 5–10-foot Fraser, Balsam and Canaan fir. Field rates can differ from pre-cut prices, so ask for the field price before cutting. The farm supplies a saw. Whichever route you choose, staff make a fresh bottom cut, shake and bale the tree, hold it while you finish shopping and help tie it onto your vehicle.

A shop full of seasonal choices
Browse handmade wreaths, porch pots, evergreen gnomes and birch reindeer, with wreath sizes suited to spaces ranging from a front door to a farm silo. The Christmas shop includes ornaments, home accents, candles, gourmet foods and gifts made on the farm or by Wisconsin artisans.
A complimentary cup of cocoa and a warming fire make it easy to pause while the tree is prepared. Dogs are welcome, so the family outing can include your four-legged companion too.
Farm-made wreaths and custom orders
On-site wreaths blend Balsam and Fraser fir with White pine and cedar. Standard wreaths include a tied bow and three pinecones tipped in white. Sizes range from 24 to 60 inches, with decorated designer pieces and other sizes available by request.
Allow 2–3 days for a custom order. Custom work typically adds $5–$10, varying with the design and materials; embellishments such as candy canes, hearts, crosses and trees depend on stock. Selected items can be shipped to U.S. addresses, with the available items and shipping prices arranged directly.

Plan the tree visit
Christmas-season hours are daily from 8am to 5pm, with Thanksgiving excluded. Field selection is limited, so ask about it before making a trip specifically to cut your own tree. Compare the individual trees and their tags before choosing a size or a colored-tree finish.
